MM-Offshore establishes own production facilities in P.R. China
MMO proudly announces the opening of their own new production facilities in Motou Town, Rugao City (Nantong), Jiangsu China. This locally new constructed workshop trading under the name “Jiangsu Greenland Marine Equipment Co., Ltd” offers various different production facilities and equipment on a total area of abt. 5,000 sqm and a connected office area for management, design, purchasing, QC and production of approx. 450 sqm.
This new own MM-Offshore production facility enables us to massively increase our production capacity and to grant highest and efficient production quality based on latest state of the art technology and industry standards.

MM-Offshore sets course for expansion and extends company management
The internationally renowned manufacturer of highly efficient rudder systems and
technically sophisticated shipbuilding equipment MM-Offshore GmbH strengthens
its corporate management as of 01.12.2022 and thus equally addresses the
continuous, sustainable expansion and product success since its foundation in 2009.
Hinnerk Hatecke, formerly for almost a decade product responsible executive manager
for innovative and sustainable life-saving equipment on board of cruise ships of the
Hatecke Group, will henceforth the strengthen MM-Offshore GmbH as COO / Director of Operations,
while Jan Hamann continues to hold the position as CEO / Managing Owner.
In the future, special attention will continue to be paid to the development and
production of efficient, innovative rudder systems and their control drives - albeit
in significantly higher quantities. In addition, the product portfolio is to be expanded
and rounded off with challenging shipbuilding equipment components such as hull ports,
tender platforms and ferry & cruise liner equipment. The 37-years-old naval architect
Hatecke brings with him extensive and valuable experience in the management,
development and series production of sophisticated large shipbuilding equipment
components, complemented by in-depth expertise in the field of alternative materials,
especially fiber composites, new manufacturing methods and hydrodynamics. The
aim is to expand the existing network from commercial and special purpose
shipbuilding to cruise, ferry and yacht as well as to expand the service and spare
parts business.

MM-Offshore EMPRESS/EMPIRE rudder systems for the feeder fleet
Due to the outstanding maneuvering as well as power efficiency properties the
MM-Offshore EMPRESS/EMPIRE rudder systems turns to a key solution for
a growing feeder shipping fleet. The fully twisted leading edge rudder with flap
and rudder bulb solution combines a lot of needed benefits and technologies.
Following to the performance of MM-Offshore and its products it was possible to
sign new contracts for:
- Langh Ship OY AB with 3x 1200TEU Container Vessels at
Pax Ocean Engineering (Zhoushan) Co.,Ltd.
- Wilhelmsen Ahrenkiel with 2x 1300TEU Container Vessels at
Taizhou Sanfu Ship Engineering Co.,Ltd.

Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group orders another package at MM-Offshore
Within the good cooperation in former projects Yangzijiang Shipbuilding moves on
with MM-Offshore GmbH.
A series of four 8200TEU Container Vessels for the owner PIL from Singapore will
sail with a MM-Offshore EMPRESS rudder system. With this sizes of vessels and
rudder systems, MM-Offshore deepens the experience for all sizes of vessels and
equipment.

MM-Offshore joins the shipbuilding market of Singapore
The ASL Shipyard PTE Ltd. joins the circle of clients at MM-Offshore GmbH.
With our experience in the field of Chemical Tanker rudder systems we are
happy to arrange a delivery of one of our EMPIRE rudder systems to a 5000dwt
Chemical Tanker in Singapore.

Reederei Hartmann and MM-Offshore strengthen the relation
Further to the former projects Reederei Hartmann decide to equip more
vessels with the energy efficient rudder system solution of MM-Offshore GmbH.
The fleet with our EMPRESS rudder systems will be extended with:

Next series of Reeder Hartmann LPG Carriers successfull equipped
Toghether with our major client Reederei Hartmann, MM-Offshore GmbH

MM-Offshore deepens the experience for Chemical Tanker equipment
With the order for four EMPIRE flap type rudders for the owner John T. Essberger
MM-Offshore is able to extend the reference list for Chemical Tanker rudder systems.
Further to this fact we are looking forward to the continuation of very good cooperation
with the China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Yangzhou) Dingheng Co.,Ltd. as we
are now realizing more than 10 ship sets of EMPIRE- as well as EMPRESS/EMPIRE
rudder systems for Chemical Tanker projects togehter.

Wuhu Shipyard launched the M/T Prospero
Equipped with the MM-Offshore combination EMPRESS/EMPIRE rudder
the beautiful 22.000dwt Chemical Tanker M/T Prospero was launched.
MM-Offshore is very proud to serve Donsötank, FKAB and Wuhu
shipyard successful with a high efficient and reliable flap type rudder

First of six 3600dwt chemical tanker for GEFO will start to sea-trials soon
For our good partners China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Yangzhou) Dingheng Co.,Ltd.
and GEFO we finished the installation of MM-Offshore EMPIRE Rudder system
on the first of six 3600dwt chemical tankers. Within the upcoming days the
hull number AD0059 will start to her sea-trials.
Rudder installtion for second vessel AD0060 will follow within the upcoming week.
